ESTRUCTURA EXTENSIBLE

Alejandro Coromiras

This sculpture, made of steel by Alejandro Corominas in 1997, rests on a wooden “pegollo”, a pillar that was used to hold up granaries, traditional Asturian constructions. The piece is made up of a different-sized hollow cubes and inserts that form a dynamic composition through the idea of expansion that they offer the viewer.
