OBELISCO

Cesar Ripoll Dono

 

“Obelisco”, from 2006, is a piece made by the sculptor Cesar Ripoll Dono, in corten steel and steel stainless. The piece was created when he was awarded the Antón Grant for Sculptural Creation in 2005.

The piece is configured in a large equilateral triangle six meters high. The author added a series of geometric cuts and other more imaginary shapes to the last three meters.

The piece is finished off with a meter-long prism, made of stainless steel.
